The RP90

Based on the original P90 recipe, these pickups are wound on a vintage 1960s winding machine using the same turns-per-layer pattern found in the 1950s.

Both pickups have a strong, distinctive character. No matter the style or situation, this set can handle almost any genre of music. These pickups combine the charm and clarity of a single coil with the power and punch of a humbucker.

The set is perfectly balanced, so there’s no need to raise the bridge pickup excessively or lower the neck pickup to achieve matching output levels.

Staying true to period-correct materials, the neck and bridge pickups use two different magnet types. This gives the neck pickup a smoother, less nasal character with enhanced warmth, while the bridge pickup delivers more bass, bite, and presence.
