A unique pickup in today’s market, the PATH 57 brings back the sound and feel of the early P.A.F. humbuckers. It features a slightly lower output than the original PATH series, offering added clarity and openness. True to the construction style of 1957, it uses steel bobbin holder screws, along with a cover alloy and thickness that match the materials used in the early P.A.F. era. The Butyrate bobbins are winded on a 60’s winding machine, sets up to the 50’s specifications (such as correct tension and turn/layer number). The PATH 57 is also available with a fully closed cover, without pole screw holes. A straightforward tribute to vintage tone, made for modern players.
